Tell me what's wrong with my CV (3)

Have a read through this CV and use the box at the bottom to add your comments.

"After resigning from my previous job as an equities sales trader in the house team of a major stock brokerage in Singapore in Feb, I have been searching for junior analyst roles in the back office, in particular in corporate actions, settlement, reconciliation or custody. Yet, none of the firms I have applied to have given me an interview opportunity.

I graduated last year with a finance degree and internship experience in corporate actions. Moreover, I was born in China and grew up in both HK and SG, showing particular interests in the current affairs, business practice and culture of the Greater China region. However, I do not know how I can market these strengths better with my current CV. "

what you should bring to the fore in your CV is what value you can bring.  This should be linked through what you have achieved in your past.

The objective is too long. Looks more like a cover letter.
Too patchy, lacks significant work experience.
Jobs state what he did but does not state actual achievements.

Otherwise not a bad CV.

Good chance of getting called in for interviews for junior roles.

The "objective" section is redundant. It carrys no substance.

I find it surprising that you are applying back office job because you seem to be a front-office person.

"I find it surprising that you are applying back office job because you seem to be a front-office person."

Why not? People keep their minds open for career change.

Completely agreee with all 3 comments. Objective is too long and don't know what's your achievements.

Your Work experience shd be the major part of CV, but the objective is almost as long as the Work experience.
